Engineer by Degree. Educationist by Profession. Mentor by Purpose.
CBSE Mathematics & Physics • Competency-Based Learning • Sahibabad, Ghaziabad
Ashu Sharrma is the Founder and Educationist behind EXYLVYIA, a modern learning platform focused on CBSE Mathematics, Physics, competency-based learning, and application-oriented education in Sahibabad and Ghaziabad.
With 21+ years of mentoring experience, Ashu Sharrma brings together an engineering background, analytical thinking, and technology-enabled teaching to create learning experiences designed for how students actually learn and demonstrate understanding today.
He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering in 2009 and developed expertise across Mathematics, Physics, Artificial Intelligence, Python, SQL, and MySQL.
But his strongest contribution to education is not simply the subjects he teaches. It is how he teaches students to think. His lifelong philosophy has been simple: do not train students only to remember the answer; train them to understand the problem, think about it, and arrive at the answer.
This philosophy is especially relevant in modern CBSE learning, where competency-based education, application-based reasoning, and critical thinking are now central to learning outcomes, board preparation, and deep academic understanding.
Experience
A long-standing mentoring journey in academics, discipline, and student growth.
Academic Edge
An engineering background that strengthens logic, structure, and analytical teaching.
Methodology
Students are trained to understand, reason, analyse, and solve independently.
Local Trust
A practical, student-first coaching approach rooted in the local academic context.
At EXYLVYIA, competency-based learning is not treated as a last-minute exam strategy. It is practiced in everyday classroom learning through a structured framework that helps students move from understanding to application, reasoning, analysis, and independent problem-solving.
Students first understand what a concept means and why it works before they move toward application.
Students apply ideas to familiar scenarios to connect theory with practical problem solving.
Students identify the relevant concept, reason through the question, and decide the most suitable pathway.
Students learn to compare, evaluate, connect concepts, and solve complex analytical tasks with confidence.
Mathematics at EXYLVYIA is taught as logical thinking and structured problem solving, not mere formula memorization. Students are encouraged to ask what is being asked, what information is available, which concept is relevant, and why the method works.
Physics requires more than remembering equations. Students learn to connect the concept, condition, physical situation, mathematical representation, and result so they understand the logic behind the solution rather than just the equation itself.
This creates confident learners who can handle familiar textbook problems and unfamiliar competency-based questions with greater clarity and depth.

Why EXYLVYIA
Students do better when they genuinely understand what they are learning. EXYLVYIA focuses on building clarity, application, independent reasoning, and confidence through regular practice, structured feedback, and guided mentorship.
Modern CBSE assessment places stronger emphasis on learning outcomes, application, critical thinking, and competency-based assessment. That means students need more than memorization; they need confidence with unfamiliar contexts, case-based problems, reasoning, and multi-step thinking.
EXYLVYIA integrates critical-thinking practice into regular classroom learning so that students are prepared not only for board examinations but for a deeper understanding of how to reason, apply concepts, and solve problems independently.
This is what makes EXYLVYIA different: it does not wait for examination pressure to introduce competency-based thinking. It builds that skill as a habit from the beginning.
Ashu Sharrma is the founder and educationist behind EXYLVYIA, with 21+ years of mentoring experience focused on CBSE Mathematics, Physics, and competency-based learning.
EXYLVYIA focuses on understanding, application, reasoning, and critical thinking rather than only memorisation or exam-season practice.
It is a classroom habit built around concept clarity, guided application, unfamiliar problem solving, and higher-order thinking that prepares students for modern CBSE expectations.
